It is really a hidden gem. My every day has felt like Sunday – peaceful, serene…
and just the sound of nature. My guide has been a fantastic source of information 
about Japanese history, Japanese culture, Shinto religion, and the local cuisine. 
She has also been a great sensei with whom I have been able to practice my “nihongo”. 
I definitely recommend spending some time there and getting
to know the place – its rich history (and vital role during the Tokugawa shogunate), 
its important shrines, its unique food and its beautiful landscapes. Definitely
worth (re-) visiting!”
